Trump likely to surprise Prince William?
All eyes are on Prince William’s meeting with president-elect Donald Trump in Paris where the Prince of Wales is representing his father King Charles.
Thousands of royal fans who are well aware of Trump’s views about Meghan Markle and the royal family are keen to know whether the Republican will mention Prince Harry, his wife and the late Queen in his meeting with the future king.
Given Trump’s nature many believe that he might surprise the prince by mentioning his estranged brother but there would be no way of knowing what came under discussion during the meeting.
Trump is known to be a critic of the Duchess of Sussex and in 2021 he reportedly said, “I’m not a fan of hers. I wasn’t from day one. I think Harry has been used horribly and I think some day he will regret it. I think Harry’s been used and been used terribly. I think it’s ruined his relationship with his family, and it hurts the Queen. She is trying do things that I think are very inappropriate.”
Prince William will attend Saturday’s re-opening of Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, Kensington Palace said.
Kensington Palace confirmed that the Prince of Wales will meet with President-elect Donald Trump and US First Lady Jill Biden before the ceremony.
