Prince William releases meaningful statement after Prince Andrew’s latest controversy
Prince William has released a big statement after his uncle Prince Andrew landed in new controversy related to UK’s national security.
According to a report by Reuters, a businessman who had forged close links with Prince Andrew and was authorised to act on his behalf to seek investors in China has been banned from Britain on national security grounds.
Prince Andrew’s office has also reacted to it, saying: ‘The Duke of York followed advice from His Majesty’s Government and ceased all contact with the individual after concerns were raised.’”
Following the emergence of Prince Andrew’s new scandal, Prince William joined Ted Lasso actress Hannah Waddingham at Alexandra Palace where they enjoyed a game of darts.
The future king said the public should not have to give up the things they enjoy in order to save the planet, arguing: “It’s about doing it in a slightly different way.”
He went on saying, it is important for him to be “careful” about “telling people ‘don’t do this or don’t do that’”.
In the video released on William and Kate Middleton’s official Instagram handle, the Prince and Hannah joked about their lack of darts prowess and the future King revealed: “So I talk to my children the whole time about it, and it’s important that they see, touch, feel and go into nature.
“It’s very hard for anyone to understand what’s the point of protecting it if you never use it. And it’s really important we get people out into nature because then they’ll value it.”
The future king said, “We can’t take for granted what we have. We have to protect it, we have to look after it, we have to think about it in a way that is sustainable and beneficial for all of us.”
