OG Maco passes away at 32 after days of being in a coma
OG Maco has passed away at the age of 32.
The rapper, who was admitted in the hospital due to a self-inflicted gunshot, supposedly a suicide attempt, after days of being in a coma, has now died, in Los Angeles.
Maco, who has also performed under the stage names Maco Mattox and Maco Curry, could not be saved by the doctors since his condition had begun to deteriorate recently.
His family members took to his official Instagram account to announce the tragic news of his demise, writing, “While we grieve this immense loss, we also celebrate the extraordinary life he lived — one that will continue to inspire and uplift others.”
The note continued, “Maco’s influence, both as an artist and as a person, will remain forever etched in our hearts.”
“To all of Maco’s fans, friends and supporters: Thank you for standing by him throughout his journey. Today we celebrate a life that was extraordinary in every we,” the post further read, signing off with the words, “love and gratitude.”
