Jay-Z makes first public appearance after denying rape allegation
Jay-Z made a first public appearance with his wife, Beyoncé, and daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, at the premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King on Monday just a day after he was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl.
The couple and their daughter were all smiles as they posed on the red carpet at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on December 9.
The 55-year-old rapper donned a brown suit, white button-up shirt, and black tie for the event, while Beyoncé looked stunning in a plunging metallic gold gown.
As for their daughter, Blue turned heads in a gold strapless ballroom gown.
For those unversed, Beyoncé reprises her voiceover role as Nala in the highly anticipated new Disney prequel Mufasa: The Lion King.
Blue also joined her mother onscreen as she lent her voice to lioness cub Kiara.
Notably, this surprise outing came after Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs were accused of sexually abusing a teenage girl at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000.
The Empire State of Mind rapper and Diddy were both named in a new lawsuit by a woman identified only as Jane Doe.
However, Jay-Z dismissed the allegations in a strong statement shared on X, stating that it was “a blackmail attempt.”
