Robert Downey Jr. is not letting go of his Iron Man character.
On Thursday evening, the Marvel star, who retired from his iconic superhero role five years ago, was spotted in an Iron Man t-shirt in Santa Monica, California.
Even on a date with his wife, Susan Downey, Robert showed off his iconic superhero t-shirt paired with a gray velvet blazer and black jeans.
The beloved couple, who have been married for nearly 20 years, were spotted at the popular celebrity hotspot, Giorgio Baldi, according to a report by DailyMail.
Meanwhile, Susan complemented his look with a plaid sweater dress, a stylish trench coat and boots.
This outing comes ahead of Susan and Robert’s 20th wedding anniversary, which they will celebrate in August 2025.
In an interview with PEOPLE magazine earlier this year, Susan talked about the secret to their marriage.
“We do have a two-week rule. We don’t go more than two weeks without seeing each other and the family being together,” she revealed, adding that it “often feels too long.”
