Michael J. Fox has reportedly broken more bones than his own stuntman, Charlie Croughwell.

Fox, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991, has faced increasing physical challenges.

Speaking with Metro, Croughwell, who worked as Fox’s stunt double for 16 years, revealed that his pal’s injuries have outnumbered his own.

Croughwell said, “One of the last times I saw him, we were just sitting there, talking back and forth, and we started to compare broken bones.”

“My job requires that you can potentially break bones, or it can kill you, and you have to understand that and accept that. And Mike has broken more bones than I have,” he continued.

He further continued, “He started saying, ‘Well, I broke this, and I broke this’, and I’m just like, my God, you know, the poor guy has been through [so much].”

“At the same time, having no control over, you know, your motor skills or control – really, I have an enormous amount of respect for the war that poor guy has been fighting for so long now,” Croughwell added.

Additionally, Croughwell has shown his support for Fox by auctioning off a Back to the Future II hoverboard to raise funds for the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which supports Parkinson’s research.
